It is ideal for holiday-makers who want a restful seaside holiday and for vistors who wish to tour Snowdonia or those who wish to mix the two. Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales, is but a few miles away. Walk on windswept moorlands, climb a mountain, sail on a mountain lake. You can cycle on one of the many designated routes. Criccieth again and again wins first place in the "Wales in Bloom" competition. Keith & Linda offer you a warm welcome and comfortable stay. All our rooms are ensuite, with self-regulated gas central heating, multi-channel colour TV's, clock radios and tea/coffee/ chocolate making facilities. The loan of an iron/ironing board is available free of charge. Sea facing rooms have fantastic views across the bay and the mountains beyond Harlech. Because of the gulf stream, the climate is very temperate so watch out for dolphins in the bay. It is an ideal base for visiting Snowdonia, the Ffestiniog railway, the Welsh Highland Railway, and Portmeirion (where the cult TV series 'The Prisoner' was filmed) and the Llyn Peninsula. The surrounding area has a range of natural beauty spots and wild life, ideal for artists. Ample facilities for golfers, sailors and ramblers. Anglers, if you are looking for quality river and sea fishing, this is the area for you. If trains are your passion, there are many scenic narrow gauge railways.
