The Minffordd Hotel in Talyllyn valley, Mid Wales is set in probably the most breathtaking scenery in Britain and is literally situated at the base of the Cader Idris with the summit being 1 1/2 miles NW of the hotel. The original parts of the building are over 400 years old so as you Would expect the walls are very thick and there are plenty of originally features such as the wood beams which can be seen through out the building and our log fire which is a key feature during the winter months.

We have 7 bedrooms all of which are En – suite, 4 Doubles 1 of which has a king sized bed, 2 Twins and 1 Single. Our restaurant seats a maximum of twenty people and 2 lounges to sit back and relax in any time of the day. We also have a well stocked bar with draught beer and a good selection of malt whiskey.

The Minffordd Hotel is well worth a visit, therefore, not only for its location in the finest scenery in Britain, but also for its warm and comfortable
hospitality in a building that has welcomed visitors for over three
centuries..........!
